Ideal place with genuinely helpful staff and appetising food. New-fashioned and beautifully maintained room with central heating, iron/ironing board, and a seating area. A relaxing area, nice location really close to Close to roman bridge, restaurants and ferry to the beach and tavira and calcada.

Conveniently located just a short 20-minute walk from the train station. the room was nice and the bed was comfy. Plus, there was a spacious bathroom 🚿.

The room at this guesthouse was incredibly comfortable and perfect for a light sleeper like me. The bathroom was also spacious and luxurious, making me feel like I was in a ballroom. The location was ideal - a quiet area but still within easy walking distance to the center of town. I loved being in the old part of town, surrounded by the charm and beauty of the area. The owners were some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered in my travels.

The Calcada Guesthouse in Tavira exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, with charming streets and plenty of nearby cafes. The guesthouse itself was bright, modern, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, the towels were soft, and the rooftop breakfast was a delicious feast. Andy and Tamsin, the owners, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
